Kobe Bryant's legacy in e-discovery

You probably already know this, but, over last summer, Kobe Bryant's team gained access to text messages written by his accuser on the night of the attack. According to CBS, this is the first case in the States where such evidence has been deemed relevant. The case was later dismissed, leaving this ruling as one of the lasting impacts of the case.
